Jonathan Rosenblum
President
Jonathan Rosenblum has over 15 years of experience as a leader in nonprofit organizations. He brings a skill set comprised of strategic planning, organizational oversight, and team leadership. Jonathan received his Masters of Public Administration and has worked for a wide range of nonprofit organizations serving some of the community’s most vulnerable populations. Jonathan first joined the Plumfield Academy community in 2000 as a counselor. He returned to Plumfield in 2015 as Program Manager, steering the organization through strategic transitions. He joined the board in 2020, supporting Plumfield’s evolution. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, hiking, camping, and exploring Sonoma County’s coastline.
Steve Hecht
Past President
After growing up in Southern California, Steve earned a Bachelors of Science from UC Irvine and a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University. In the early 1990s he moved to Australia and worked for a small business consulting firm before returning to California, beginning a career of sales, marketing and business development. In 2003 he shifted to residential real estate in his adopted hometown of Bodega Bay where he continues to this day. Steve has been consistently involved with local non-profits, and joined the Plumfield Board of Directors in 2017, serving as president from 2019 to 2022.
Neils Goodwin
Treasurer & Past President
A Sonoma County native with a family history of non-profit work, Neils joined Plumfield Academy as a counselor after graduating from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science in Social Science. Neils developed a deep appreciation for teamwork as a student athlete in high school and college, and enjoyed the people and community culture he found while working at Plumfield for several years. Many years and moves later, Neils was honored to begin giving back to the Plumfield community when he joined the board in 2014 and served as Board President from 2015-2018. Neils now lives in Cotati with his wife, their 3 sons, and their lovable mutt, Maple.
Jamie McKenna
Secretary
Jamie McKenna, LCSW is a therapist, mom, theater lover and Bay Area native. Born and raised in Oakland, Jamie has a background in youth development and clinical social work with underserved children, adolescents and caregivers. Her career has involved youth work in various settings relevant to our Plumfield Academy community, both local to Sonoma County and beyond, including adaptive outdoor education programs, school-based counseling, family shelters, and community mental health clinics.
Stacy Kalember
Stacy Kalember was born and raised in Sonoma County. She attended UC Santa Barbara and graduated in 2000 with a BA in Sociology. To incorporate her interest in sociology, education, and finance, Stacy chose to work in the education field, starting with Anova Education, Oak Grove USD, and in her current position as Chief Business Official at Harmony Union School District. Stacy and her husband, Ian, have two boys, ages 16 and 13. Stacy and Ian spend most of their free time spectating their boys’ sports teams. When not attending sporting events, they enjoy spending family time hiking our great Sonoma County trails with their dog Willow, visiting our beautiful coastline, camping in the redwoods, and skiing in the Sierras.
